Sarti Sithonia

Sarti is located at the end of the second peninsula of Halkidiki, Sithonia and is the tourist paradise of the City Toronis . Is a seaside village with less than 1000 residents . The population increases during the summer season as the area attracts thousands of visitors, Greeks and foreigners. A beach three kilometers encompassing a fishing village which summer turns into a big city as thousands of visitors , both foreign and domestic , flock to enjoy the deep blue sea with the deep green of the surrounding mountains. The view from every part of the beach is the peninsula of Mount Athos with the impressive term " Athos " with peak at 2085 m.

Sarti offers the visitor all kinds of fun and entertainment, such as watersports, trekking in the lush mountains, games in the sea, traditional taverns etc. In the old village survive a few of the old refugee houses of Afisiotes of Asia Minor, who began arriving in the region since 1922.
